Context

Northumbrian Water is a water utility in the UK. This 2018 engagement had a narrow, practical brief: improve how efficiently the company's teams ran their meetings, using a mobile app.

Efficient Meetings, from login to recommendations
The Efficient Meetings mobile app concept for Northumbrian Water across three iPhone screens: a branded login, a meeting list scored by efficiency and cost, and a recommendations view suggesting changes that cut cost and CO2.

The problem

Meetings are one of the easiest places for a large organization to lose time. The brief asked a focused question: could a mobile app make everyday meetings run more efficiently?

What I did

  1. Explored the concept through wireframes, mapping how a meeting-focused mobile app might flow before committing to visual detail.
  2. Designed the interface, taking the wireframes up to a clear, high-fidelity UI for mobile.
  3. Built an interactive prototype so the meeting flow could be experienced on a phone, not just described on paper.

What changed

The engagement delivered a mobile app concept for more efficient meetings, carried from wireframes through UI design to a working prototype. It was a focused, self-contained piece of design work rather than a long-running product build.
